Excellent service

Joe's attention to detail is outstanding and he is an excellent tradesman, he will go above and beyond to help you choose the right flooring and is so knowledgeable about what he does. He helped us choose what would work best in our home and offered up several samples, which was nice to be able to see them in situ rather than in a shop! He even saved us the job of getting in a joiner and tri...mmed all our kitchen plinths and our bedroom door for us which saved us a fortune. We were always customers of the floorshop while Dave was in charge, and now that Joe has taken over from his dad we will be definitely be supporting him and would encourage anybody looking to get new flooring to do so as well!

Longstanding family business, reliable and helpful

W have used J Midgley Floorshop for all our new flooring since we moved here over four years ago. Most recently, Joe has fitted carpet to our new, extended dining room. When contacted he came very promptly, with plenty of samples and advised on suitable carpet. This was obtained and fitted within about 10 days. It is beautiful, expertly fitted and Joe was great. We will certainly get him back for the next project!

Excellent from start to finish !

Excellent service from Joe, polite, professional, nothing was too much trouble. He was very patient as my works schedule changed and I had to change my dates. My bathroom flooring and stair carpet has been fitted to an excellent standard, neat and tidy and he cleaned up afterwards. He went beyond what I expected and tidied the flooring in my bathroom cupboard which was a lovely surprise! I’ve not hesitated to get a further quote for more new flooring. I’ll definitely be recommending him to friends and family , thank you !
