He tried to charge me 100 pounds for new shifters wires and a new gear. When I went to another bike store they didn't even charge me as they said it was a minor job and only needed to adjust the wire in the gear. He uses highly inappropriate language for no reason. And whilst I was there he charged someone 10 pound just to tighten his brake which took less than a minute. Don't recommend for anyone,I went there just needed to have a wire placed through my gear and he tried to charge me 100 pound saying I needed new gear new wires and a new shifter when I went to another shop they didn't even charge me as it was such a small job. Don't recommend going as he swears and uses highly inappropriate behaviour.

Excellent friendly service from John, I booked my bike in with him in the morning and by the afternoon it was ready to collect having been given a brilliant service and once again roadworthy.
Many thanks I shall return in the future,I have been going there for many years, also thanks to the lads for there help.

Been going here for 25 years and they have always been helpful with anything my family have needed from new bikes, parts, accessories & repairs. If its cycles its JH simply the best. Thanks for the service provided through the years!

I have been to this shop before it is very good I was just wondering does it do escooter repairs

Having been a customer of John’s for 20+ years, I cannot attest for the poor reviews. The service I personally have received has constantly been of a high standard, with a smile and a joke, quality products and never once been let down. I have recommend him to all my friends and family and they too received the same high standards. I’ll continue to use JH Cycles as their knowledge of cycles and their corresponding products leaves me with a confidence in my purchases that other cycle shops do not.
