I decided to change my corner sofa to a straight sofa. One cushion needed resizing. The job was completed in one day. I feel the price was great and I was kept informed. I am loving my "new" sofa. We have a set of garden furniture which is now about 8 years old. The cushions had become tired and faded and we tried to buy replacements but found that none were available. Fortunately we stumbled upon Alan who measured up and then produced an outstanding set of covers in a very sturdy blur fabric.
The results were amazing and the cushions look better than new; the fabric used is better than the original.
Can’t thank Alan enough. Would recommend unreservedly for any upholstery project.

Alan restuffed a cushion on our recliner sofa which I’d flattened over the years!. It was tricky as the chair was part of a corner sofa, and was extremely heavy. Alan and a colleague collected and returned, and now it is as good as new. Can highly recommend.

This is the third time JG Bird (Alan) has reupholstered various items of furniture for us and his work has always been to the highest standard. The most recent was a 20 year old three piece suite which now looks as good as new. Always a friendly service with excellent results. I would highly recommend.

Dining chairs recoverd with new foam etc. Provided good selection of materials and other options available.
