J Child & Son is a Family Run Memorial Masons since 1899. We Offer A Range Of Memorials & Services From Headstones to House Name Plates & Much More. Call Into One Of Our Showrooms

Founded in 1899 by Joseph Child, we are a 4th generation independent family business. The company is now run by his great-granddaughter Jenny and her husband Roger Gregson. We are very active members of the National Association of Memorial Masons, both having served on many committees. Jenny is also a past National President of the Association. We consider that it is very important to safeguard standards within our industry and to ensure that our bereaved clients receive full and relevant information to make an informed choice.

The design or ornamentation of a memorial may reflect something of the personality or life of your loved one. Your choice of memorial is not limited to the designs you will see on display, or in the many photographs we can show you. There is the opportunity to commission a memorial to your own specifications. Whatever your choice may be it is important that your decision is not rushed.
