IFiXiT Repairs Limited

I popped into IFixiT in Royston today to see it they would sell me a screwdriver to open the back of my MacBook. They didn't sell them but opened the laptop back, blasted out the dust, replaced the dried out thermal paste (?) and put it back together again. Excellent service and pleasant people to deal with. All pensioners should go there!

It did take awhile too sore out and they were multi-tasking and had to que out side due to the virus stuff but more than happy to go back next time.

I went to Ifixit repairs as I wanted to be able to have my phone repaired (broken screen) swiftly and with minimum fuss. Although they were more expensive than other repair companies they offered to come around to repair my work at my work and return it within 2 hours. When they came they suggested that it would be better to take the phone away so that they can test it and ensure that it was working. I agreed and let them take it away. It was returned the next day with a new screen. If that would have been the end of it then this would be a 5 star review. However, the battery read as 50% no matter if I charged or used the phone. I got home and the phone died! I contacted them the next day to see what had gone wrong. They suggested they would pick it up that day. No one came. I had to contact them again at which point they turned up the day after. They took it away and I received it back two days later without an apology. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

I can't fault these guys at all!
They have been out to my workplace twice now (2 different locations) and resolved my iPhone issues quickly, effectively and at a very reasonable price.
They are really friendly and do exactly what they say they are going to, when they say they are going to do it!
Highly recommend!
