I am pleased to be able to provide my thoughts and opinion of Ideal Construction.
My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with this company.
They in fact built our present home in excess of 3000 sq ft in record time, just 6 months with a superb, friendly and approachable team making it an enjoyable experience.
Their workmanship is of a very high standard which comes from extremely competent tradesmen.
Because of the above they have continued to support us over the last 12 years with our further requirements.

Ideal Construction were highly recommended to us by neighbours. We wanted a vaulted garden room with a large triangular window, underfloor heating (UFH), sliding doors and a paved patio area. We also wanted UFH installed in our recently combined lounge/diner.

The project was managed by Keith who was extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The work started on time and was completed to a very high standard by the family team of Adrian, Harry & Keith along with Jay. They treated our property with respect and care and worked with a great team ethic.

We were not asked for any money upfront and payments were staged as the work progressed. Despite the high rise in material prices during the project the cost came out on quote with one exception which was fully justified and agreed beforehand.

We would not hesitate to use Ideal Construction again and would highly recommend them to anybody who wants a very professional, friendly and value for money family builder.

Ideal Construction have just completed a large extension project for us. We were quite apprehensive about employing builders, but we couldn't be happier with our choice as they made the whole process as smooth as possible. They were professional, friendly, helpful and importantly there was someone on site every day. The work progressed to schedule and any issues that arose were discussed with us and solved straight away. We have had a large amount of work done (including a new patio, extension, new kitchen and utility, new flooring, new boiler and hot water cylinder and alterations to our daughter's bedroom) - the finish on everything is excellent. Throughout all of this they were very considerate, keeping dust to a minimum (where possible!) and they even managed to keep our oven and dishwasher up and running, making living in a building site more bearable for us. I would not hesitate to employ them for any future building works.

We are delighted that we chose Ideal Construction for our extension & alteration. Their care & attention to detail and their friendly advice throughout led us to add further works including a new patio & garden wall and kitchen fitting. Adrian helpfully suggested preparations for the garden retaining wall would be done simultaneously with our house extension rather than a costly afterthought. Adrian and Harry are highly skilled at brick and slab laying, we are really pleased with the patio. Matt and Keith are great carpenters, with Matt being very particular in the kitchen installation. The finished kitchen and utility is a real transformation. Keith project managed with electricians, plumbers and plasterers appearing at the right time, so the project ran smoothly. The work was interrupted by the Covid lockdown. The team were sensible about withdrawing and considerate in returning. As well as admiring their work we enjoyed having them around, so we are missing them now.

The main thing for us was the quality of the workmanship and it was of the highest standard with real attention to detail. All work was carried out very effectively, within the original quotation and carried out with skill and precision. Their advice was invaluable and enabled excellent choice of materials - the curved paver path they laid was particularly exceptional and looks like it has always been in our Victorian garden. The team worked efficiently and within the time frame. They are a friendly bunch, we enjoyed their presence and they cleaned up very effectively after each day's work. So pleased to have found such excellent and honest builder/landscapers. Highly recommended - we will definitely use them again.
