AVOID!

There appears to have been a misunderstanding. I informed the customer that from inspection and after removing various components, the motherboard had suffered liquid damage and was not serviceable. It was pointed out on collection that there was liquid damage on other components also. The customer did not have the PC repaired at our shop but chose to buy and fit a motherboard himself.

No misunderstanding, I came for a diagnosis on my PC because it was faulty due to a liquid(with a high viscosity) damage. The result was motherboard fault so instead of buying one from the shop I chose to order one and install it myself. Surprise, the only faulty component was a memory stick which would have been so easy to track only if THE PROPER CHECK would have been done to my PC. You pointing out something that I've all ready knew and it could be visible does not give you the audacity to charge 10£ for absolutely nothing! Even if the components had visible traces of "liquid" on them they should have been tested because that is what I payd for, not a visual inspection!
