Welcome, I am Margaret a lover of life and a fosterer of hedgehogs, a curious vegan with a quirky world view. I love to create and deliver joyful ceremonies for all of life’s key stage events.

Whether it is saying goodbye to a loved one, welcoming a new life into your family or an affirmation of love I will write something unique- just for you.

I am a Humanist, but you certainly do not have to be ! Most of the families I work with are not humanists and I have worked with people of many faiths and none. The common factor is wanting a ceremony that is beautiful and bespoke, something that really reflects you and your values.

I have a background in drama and education, and I am an accomplished (and I hope engaging!) public speaker. I have had a varied career to date everything from counselling to acting and teaching to management. But this is the first time I really feel that I have found my niche. I was still wondering what I was going to be “when I grew up” when I was in my fifties and now at long last I know, and it feels like coming home.
