Unlawful work practices

It seems having 30 years experience has made this company arrogant, disrespectful, have bad work ethic and unlawful practices. Not only did they not contact me to arrange to remove the scaffolding they decided to remove the scaffolding by trespassing onto my property whilst noone was home and somehow entered the back of my house via my locked back gate, and also misused my garden furniture as it was placed in a location away from the scaffolding and miraculously moved by itself. They are not to be trusted and incompetent to communicate effectively.

Hi, apologies for the late reply. We have only just become active on Yell. I have investigated this as far as I can and would offer the following response. In regards to access and permissions, we take our instructions from your landlords nominated contractors and were told that access to your property was granted. Our operatives cannot remember a locked gate but maybe, if it was a bolt on the inside at the top, they would have leant over and undone it. This is standard practice where permission for access has been granted. They would have moved any garden furniture out of the way of the scaffolding to prevent any damage to it. I hope you can find some comfort in my reply and I apologise for any inconvenience caused, which was never our intention. Thanks

A very satisfactory experience.

The job involved erecting scaffolding in preparation for replacing all roof tiles on a modest-sized victorian house and was carried out without problems or difficulties. In erecting and subsequently removing the scaffolding, we found the team to be prompt, efficient, courteous, safety-conscious, well-managed, cheerful and professional. We thought that the cost was reasonable. It was clearly indicated at the outset and remained unaltered at the end.
