Hey people, my name is Matt and Ive been playing and recording guitar for over 20 yrs.

I teach Acoustic and Electric guitar from Beginner to Advanced and am familar with a variety of different styles Rock, Blues, Pop, Funk, Spanish and Classical.

I will use my experience to broaden your repertoire and help you develop fast in all areas of your playing, so it wont be long before you're jamming with other musicians or impressing your friends with your technique.

Fantastic teacher for the kids

My 10 yo son has been learning how to play piano with Matt for 2 years now and he wouldn't change it for the world (worth mentioning my son is very fussy when it comes to teachers). Matt really knows how to approach him to make learning feel like fun, keep him interested and in the same time challenge him and help him progress. From my perspective, as a parent, Matt has been always very professional, accommodating (our busy schedule) and flexible which I am hugely grateful for. My sons knowledge and skills have improved massively and the most important he enjoys learning with Matt and want to attend each lesson.

Brilliant Piano Teacher

Matt is a fantastic teacher, he teaches my daughter piano. He is extremely patient and calm in his teaching. Matt also goes out of his way if my daughter doesn’t understand something, he has more then one way of explaining, he will find resources to help. I find his teaching has had a very positive effect on my daughter.

Thoroughly enjoyable lessons

I’ve been taking guitar lessons with Matt since September last year. As a mature student and completely new to the guitar I was a little apprehensive, as starting anything from scratch can be an unnerving experience for an older person. However, I didn’t have anything to worry about as Matt is very calm and patient, with the ability to teach using a combination of knowledge, an understanding of my developmental needs, and unpatronising humour. He teaches at a pace that allows for progression without pressure which makes the lessons thoroughly enjoyable.
