Hi we needed a new baffle for our wood burner. We couldn't get the right one from shops . So we had to get one made. Nick was great . He made us a new one which fits great. Nick even made it from stronger steel so it will last longer. Nick kept us informed. We are really please and if we need anything else made Nick will be the first person we will ask

I needed some circular metal stakes to hold a section of timber in place to prevent paving moving and I thought that I would struggle to get someone to help with such a small job. Fortunately I found Nick following a Google search and he completed the task within days and even chamfered the ends to assist in driving the stakes into heavy clay. A few weeks later I broke my 8ft metal hedge/tree pruner some 40 years old and irreplaceable nowadays.
Nick not only mended it but sorted out a weakness in the handle as well as sharpening the blade. When you look at some of the huge metal undertakings Nick has Shown on the web site, I am amazed at his ability and enthusiasm in undertaking work that I guess most would not be bothered with. However small and odd the challenge don’t be afraid to ask Nick. He will sort it!!

Nick at HTDS devised a way of repairing my 2 kitchen bar stools, made additional parts and completed a very neat, well finished job. All at a very reasonable price. Thanks Nick.

No job too small - Nick was very helpful when I contacted him to ask if he could repair our steel parasol baseplate. Arranged to drop into for him to. look at, he said it was a simple job, less than 15mins, so no charge. I collected the repaired baseplate the following morning. Nick had also replaced the bolts, he didn’t want to charge me, but I gave him a drink for his great service. I wish more small businesses had such a great Can-Do attitude!

I took my project idea to Nick and he made it happen. From our very first discussion it was a pleasure to work with HTDS. I provided a rough outline of what I wanted and the end product far exceeded my expectations. Superb craftsmanship, some of the best welding I’ve seen locally and at a very good price. I was given a realistic time scale and kept up to date on progress, what more can you ask for!

I’ve no doubt I’ll be using them again in future projects.
