Howdens

I went to my local Howdens (Hersham) to pick up a brochure. Simple. I walked into the showroom part and there was somebody at the trade counter who didn't say anything. I didn't even notice they were there at first. No big deal there, but then I asked if they had a kitchen brochure. Already she didn't seem approachable. "Right in front of you" came the surly response, followed by nothing. As we continued to look around the showroom, some tradesmen came in and the same person was much more friendly to them. She started effing and blinding and generally acting like she was in the pub rather than a public-facing area. On further investigation we found out that this rude individual was actually the branch manageress!!! God knows how she got to be in that position! I work hard for my money and would never part with it to someone with no clue about simple manners, people facing skills & representing your company in a way that isn't aggressive and ignorant. AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS
