Howdens

We didn't feel comfortable with the salesman/designer as he tried to dictate what we should buy. Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services, our kitchen fitter recommended Howdens. We also had a bad experience with Jake Cornforth who was kind and considerate when quoting and trying to secure our business but who then showed up with a change in attitude from his start date which worsened and culminated in Jake becoming unfriendly, agitated, hostile, and unprofessional towards my wife in my absence. Jake's work is not good. He looses interest and cuts corners. He literally wants to throw up a kitchen and move on to his next job. He also had a number of jobs on the go at the same time and left us waiting whilst he worked on other jobs. He had no respect or care towards us. He left us with many areas of awful poor quality work. We regret using him.

A pushy salesman put us off using Howdens Paignton as he tried to sell us the most expensive kitchen and knocked their cheaper ranges in the process so we used Howdens Torquay which also turned out to be a nightmare after an initial good impression. Howdens was recommended by our fitter Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services, one of their trade only account holders. Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services also put us through a nightmare experience. I wouldn't wish Howdens or Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services on my worst enemy if I had any. Both Howdens and Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services are best avoided if you value your home, your hard earned money, your well being, and your sanity. Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services will no doubt show you pictures of our kitchen but he'll not show you the damaged areas he fitted and his poor quality work either. I have asked pictures and videos of our kitchen are deleted. If you see them he is illegally showing them against our will. My advise avoid.
