appalling customer care, we were ripped off with a sales item which when we got home had a lower price underneath, illegal I think ,despite many emails the best this company would do is expect us to drive 50 miles to the store rather than offer to refund to the card as they say the store cannot do this, I find this pathetic in this day and age when money can be transferred so easily I believe this is just a tactic to fob off the customer, well this customer won't be shopping here again and when I see the whole company is in trouble I start to understand why, you would think with the high street in decline stores like this would try and look after the few customers they have left, next time it will be the internet I think. Very disappointed H of F.

House of Fraser is usually a useful department store. However, this one seems to specialise in designer goods at inflated prices! There is, in particular, a good range of very expensive shoes (Jimmy Choo, Dolce and Gabbana, and the like) where you can spend an easy £700 in an afternoon on a couple of pairs of indifferent shoes which just happen to have a fancy label.

I prefer to travel to Canary Wharf if I am on a designer spree!
