Stress free removal by highly professional team

Hooks Removals moved us between houses in York on 18 November 2016. The team turned up exactly when they said they would. Both young men were very professional, well presented and very pleasant and polite. They got on with the move without any fuss and nothing was too trouble, for example rearranging the position of furniture left by the previous owner to make sure that mine would also fit. Of particular note was the skill with which they manoeuvred two particularly heavy oak pieces of mine. In carrying out their work nothing was damaged and everything was put exactly where I wanted it. Put simply they were superb and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Andrew and his lovely lads moved my 81 yrs old mum. What I thought was going to be a stressful day for my mum was made so much easier. Andrew and his team were punctual,very well mannered and very courteous. The whole team worked really hard to make this big move for mum a hassle and pain free experience even working around a very excited yapping dog! Not one single damaged item. All items put in correct rooms on arrival. I would highly recommend Hooks Removals for anyone seeking a first class removal service.

Excellent , friendly service .

Hooks removals were very polite , friendly and professional . They listened carefully to what was wanted and came up with many helpful suggestions and even set out grandfather clock ticking after many years of silence . Their knowledge and experience was very apparent by the ease in which they handled the furniture and they didn't leave without making absolutely sure there was nothing more they could do for us . We highly recommend that you use Hooks removals .

Consistently excellent service

We've used Hooks Removals 4 or 5 times between 2013 and 2022 and they've been consistently excellent. We had one tricky removal which they conducted really well, making sure everything from their end was as smooth as possible. The rates are reasonable, they take care of your belongings, even packing them up with helpfully labelled boxes if required, and are really friendly and helpful guys. I'd thoroughly recommend them.
