Hi my name is Simon I am a local tradesman that has recently established my own business Hometown Handyman Services after retiring from the Army having served for 25 years. I have utilised my previous experience and knowledge of DIY to successfully complete a number of Level 3 qualifications in property development and maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, joinery, tilling, kitchen fitting and bathroom installation.

Hometown Handyman provides a traditional handyman service based in Darlington. I pride myself on delivering a polite, punctual and professional handyman service to residents and businesses within the surrounding areas.

The idea for Hometown Handyman Services was born from the difficulty to find a tradesman that was willing to complete minor repairs and odd jobs around the house. It was clear to me that a gap existed for a trusted, reliable and fairly priced handyman service that was prepared to tackle all those odd jobs, minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.

My aim is to provide you with an honest, reliable and friendly handyman service. I am here to help you with all those odd jobs at a fair price.
