Really great shop. Very well stocked. Mick the owner is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It’s great to be able to patronise this small local business rather than one of the huge DIY chain stores.

best DIY shop around , I have always found if Mick does not have he will always get it for you , the only thing wrong with Mick is as follows ( he is a Man U supporter ) Only joking Mick

Had been buying Goddard's silver dip from Robert Dyas for twenty years when suddenly it was discontinued. Couldn't believe my luck when I found it in my local DIY shop - a proper old fashioned ironmongers, thank you!

I love this little diy shop - want one screw -no problem, just a couple of meters of telephone cable? No problem. Unlike the big DIY stores, this guy sells exactly what you want - not a dozen washers, just one or two - no problem. Everything from brushes, cables, nails, screws, garden bits and pieces, paint stripper, etc. etc. Even sells my gas bottles for the bbq - diamond place.
