Thoroughly recommend

We bought several pieces of furniture from the store and what a pleasurable and well informed experience it was. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Gareth, with a cup of coffee on arrival. Lovely quality furniture too. Will not hesitate to shop here again and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks!

Very pleasant experience.

Very pleasant experience when buying pieces of bedroom furniture. Gareth the salesman was most helpful, not pushy but was there to help and advise when required. The prices were good and the furniture we bought was just what we were looking for. Extremely pleased with our purchases. Will return without hesitation.

A1 service

This shop is a credit to furniture shops anywhere, you are greeted when you walk into the shop by very polite sales staff and even offer you a coffee to drink while browsing around the vast selection of furniture and gifts in the shop, I for one would not hesitate in buying more from here again, and will recommend any of my friends and family to call in and take a look. thanks again

Not encouraged to buy

1
Asked three times if needed help which to me is a hindrance not a help. Then when did see something i really liked and would probably have bought, was told rather rudly i could not take a picture of a £1000+ settee to show my partner before placing order. I left shop in disgust and they lost sale. No one likes firstly 'pusht' then rude sales staff. Need training in good customer care to improve sales and overall customer satisfaction. Wont go there again.

If you were asked 3 times if you needed help that does not mean the sales staff are a hindrance they are just doing their job and being polite, if no one bothered to ask if you wanted any help, then you would think you were being ignored and as for taking photos did you ask first !!! for permission if not then you are totally in the wrong. I have shopped here and the staff are very polite and even offer you coffee to drink while walking around, so in my eyes they don't need customers like you .

Its one thing doing your job it's another to over-solicit a customer. Good sales people recognise not all customers are the same. Some need and indeed want more help than others and part of the art of providing excellent service is to recognise and respond accordingly . You should be aware what your colleagues are doing . All 3 staff saw me enter the store and heard me being asked if i needed help. I politely said no thanks.Despite this, i was virtually followed around the and approached again and again. This is Not good service. I didnt mind being asked not to take photos but i did strongly object to the rude and curt manner in which i was TOLD. I would never speak to a customer in this way.I have since visited both Arthut Llewellyn and Leekes and had excellent service. A successful sales person is on the customers agenda - they call the shots if you want/deserve a sale. I doubt these staff have ever had any 'formal' training in customer service and it showed.
