Homebase - Telford

Why oh why do Telford branch of Homebase NEVER answer the phone.
It's actually quicker to drive down and ask any queries in person.
I've been stood at the customer services desk and the phone has been ringing and staff stood chatting, ignoring the phone....presumably this is the norm.

Having purchased some wallpaper from the Telford store, I was told to contact them to see whether further stock had arrived. Had dreadful service whilst trying to deal with this request over the phone and didn't get to find whether they had stock of the item even though the website was stating 7 rolls in stock. Bar codes didn't match what was on my receipt nor on the paper either. To try and get through to the store is dreadful. When I managed to get a reply after 3 attempts because the call went dead;I was put on hold and ended up putting the phone down myself. If I had of known this would be their response, I wouldn't have made a purchase in the first place. So bad for such a large company.

Fantastic, great service by Ian, run through my best options, was really helpful and helped me to the car. As for the mower really pleased, eats grass like nothing, and I got the discount too. What a great purchase!
