I use this store for all sorts of things and always get excellent service!
Their plants are superb quality and I get quite a few bargains. The cookware and cushions etc are very competitive and stylish.
I can't comment on what the previous review said as I don't buy diy bits, but for general decorating it is excellent.
The only downer is, while every member of staff I talk tois friendly and helpful, tthere just aren't enough of them!

The prices that Homebase charge are becoming unrealistic for the basic items of decorating. For example a pack of sanding belts 533mm x 75mm are priced at £12.99 for three belts in the pack. Up the road at In Excess they are £1.50. I am a professional decorator and there is no quality drop with the belts from In Excess. Maybe somebody needs to remind Homebase that there is a recession running!
