Home-Start Grantham

At Home-Start Grantham we offer informal, friendly family support. Our service is free and confidential. We support parents with at least one child under 5 through difficult times. Home-Start provides a unique service to families by recruiting and training volunteers, who have parenting experience themselves, to support parents with young children at home. All our volunteers undergo our course of preparation, have references taken and are police checked before they are linked with a family. We also run 3 family support groups.

Volunteers can also make a difference by helping out at the groups and social activities, fundraising or by becoming a Trustee to help manage the work of the scheme.
