Holwood Nursery is located 1 mile out of Somersham on the B1050 between Somersham and Chatteris. We are a family run plant nursery. We grow and sell direct to the public, Garden Centre quality at a fraction of their prices. Friendly, helpful service. Gold medal winning participation in Britain in Bloom and Anglia in Bloom. Large car park. Why not pay us a visit.

Hybrid tea, floribundas, patio and climbing roses all £6.75 each
Assorted alpines in 9cm pots £1.75 each
Perennials from £1.75, 2 litre pots £2.95, includes erysium Bowles mauve, verbena bonariensis, delphiniums, lupins, helenium, hostas, dianthus, lobelia queen Victoria, penstemon, salvia, leucanthemum, foxgloves in 4 colours, campanulas etc.
Sempervirens £1.50 each, alpine grit, small bags of compost and alpine planters also available

Just discovered a Gem of a Nursery !

Have just moved into the area and pre lock-in visited several nurseries where we found the staff not very friendly and offhand. Luckily I saw an advert for Holwood Nursery recently who do home delivery. Not only did they send us everything we needed but were really helpful and caring and we could not fault the incredibly good service Julie and Nick gave us. We vote them "5 Stars Plus" for an efficient, friendly ,service with a smile and can't wait to visit Holwood Nurseries as soon as we are able!!

Local nursery with great plants and a friendly service

I ordered some plants from Holwood Nursery today as we have used them for many years and due to the current Coronavirus situation, they were offering a delivery service to local residents. The plants were lovely as always and Julie provides great service with a smile!

I've shopped here for nearly fifteen years . The quality of plants is excellent , and the range is growing every year. Yet the prices are keener than most garden centres and nurseries My fruit tress , roses and most of my herbacious plants come from here . I got some great blueberry plants this year..For disabled people its pretty good , even pathways to browse from . I always recommend it to my friends . Kay Davis

Great service and very helpful

We ordered our hanging baskets for this summer from here and had so many comments how beautiful they were and they lasted through to November ... Which we then took the baskets back to Julie at the garden centre which she re-planted with winter pansies and ivy and we are really pleased with them. Will be using this business every year. Thank you.

Good quality plants at reasonable prices, always helpful and Julie knows which plants suit our garden. Has arranged deliveries for us of the larger items.
