Worn out lanes with no over head lighting.

On arrival we could see that there was no lighting over the lanes. We asked at reception why they were switched off and the reply was we don't know. My guess would be saving money. When we got to our lane we found the surface was heavily worn and breaking up. When we looked across all the other lanes they were all in the same state. We had planned for a great evening bowling so started our games. Wow, next issue was that due to wear and no oil on the lane, our balls were hooking in different directions. A waste of 3 games. Wont be using Bracknell Hollywood Bowl again.

But On a Saturday night they had 1 member of staff on the tills. The queue took forever. Pathetic service which is a shame as it was a fun night.

If you live in and around bracknell, oyu'll have been here at some point. there are about 30 lanes! its averagely priced. its popular with kids parties. it also has a bar with alot of fruit machines, so its quite loud!
