booked a lesson today and I can honestly say it was such an awful experience and I felt really upset after it. The lady who I had the lesson with who is actually the owner was extremely patronising. She constantly belitted me throughout the whole lesson, telling me she doesn’t understand why I am not getting this as even small kids get it right . As the saying goes there is no such thing as a bad pupil just a bad teacher. What might seem simple to you might not be that simple to someone else. Did you actually consider that maybe I wasn’t ‘getting it’ because of the face making/eye rolling you were doing when something wasn’t getting done correctly or your extremely obnoxious nature telling someone how they had just shortened the reigns was horrendous. I haven’t ridden in years and I can’t believe I have just paid £30 for someone to really knock my confidence and actually make me never want to take another riding lesson again.

I have had confidence issues in the past with horse riding after having a nasty fall 5 years ago, i couldn't go into canter as i was scared i would fall off again i had tried other riding schools in the area and still didn't have the confidence but since joining Holly riding school, Hurley within 3 weeks i was cantering and 9 weeks i had the confidence to tackle jumps, Nikky has really helped me gain confidence and understand where i was going wrong, i highly recommend this school to anyone in the area.
