As a remote landlord I was very dependent on securing a local reliable property services company to fix issues in a rented flat. Yes, I & my tenant found Tom to be a gentleman initially but a couple of things failed badly. Firstly he replaced a white radiator in the master bedroom with a black one..everything in the flat is white or light grey. More importantly he replaced an extractor fan in the ensuite & ducting to the exterior. The fan is totally unsuitable, not strong enough to push through the vapour, which has condensed & lodged in the ducting. Now leaking through the ceiling. Tom has refused to attend to the problem, will not answer calls or emails despite the fact that I pleaded with him because I lost my husband 7 weeks ago. So I now realise that he is certainly not a gentleman, will not stand over his work which is obviously sub-standard. Avoid.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for your disappointment. Regarding your concerns: The master bedroom radiator was selected by your tenant as per your instruction. Installed on April 9, 2021, this is the first instance of an issue raised. If notified earlier, we could have rectified it. Images were sent with estimates and invoices. Regarding the extractor fan, your initial email about a fault was on June 26, 2022. We provided options on June 26, 2022, and you chose a fan on June 27, 2022. The first complaint came on February 26, 2024, almost 19 months later. Despite offering replacements, you haven't provided access details for the tenant. It's likely the issues stem from ducting not being properly insulated, as mentioned in our email on February 26, 2024. We offered inspection and replacement. Access has been challenging due to lack of tenant contact and unresponsiveness from agents. Please contact us at [email protected]. We're keen to make things right.
