Business overview

Hilton Hall Dance Academy was established in 1994. The main studios are situated on the second floor of The Power Hub Complex in St. Peters Street Maidstone. They are home to both the Academy and Hilton Hall Performing Arts School. Facilities at our main branch include two fully equipped dance and drama studios with sprung floors, mirrors and fixed wall barres as well as a changing room, waiting area and reception.

Classes are available in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz following the syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). All pupils are encouraged to take these exams which are held bi-annually at the end of the autumn and summer terms.

The Academy produces it's annual show at the end of the spring term and all pupils are involved in this production. Pupils are also encouraged to create their own pieces which are shown at our annual Choreographic Awards.

I have been teaching at Hilton Hall Academy since April 2015. The staff and pupils are very welcoming and friendly ,it felt like I was part of a big family. A fantastic atmosphere from pupils and staff all adding their skills to help each other and the older children helping with the younger ones to achieve their goals as they follow a path for their own hobbies/ career. I would recommend this ballet school to all those people who are interested in doing this genre as the school is perfect for all types of people and all ages .I am having a great time teaching all the children and I look forward to every Saturday as it is so rewarding the children have achieved so much in a short space of time and I'm so proud that they are reaching their goals to a high standard.

Cannot recommend this dance school highly enough

Over 10 years ago, my eldest daughter started at Hilton Hall at the age of 3 as she wanted to learn ballet. I can honestly say we could not have chosen a better dance school. She continues dancing now (aged 13) and is joined by both her younger sister(10) and brother(6). As well as receiving amazing training both in technique and performance, the students achieve high grades in exams and every child, whatever age or ability, are given the opportunity to perform on stage.

What sets HH apart from other dance schools though, is the camaraderie between students, there is a real family atmosphere with senior students helping the younger ones both in and out of the studios.
I couldn't be happier for my children to grow up in this environment whilst receiving the best standards of education. They've already made friendships for life and so have I!!!

Great at building confidence in all children

The teachers at the school set high standards and bring out the best in the children. My daughter has been with the school since the age of 3 (now 9) and is blossoming into a confident individual who just loves dancing. Annual shows are very professional and my daughter has now got a solid group of friends through the dance school. Would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous friendly Dance school

I trained at this dance school for many years and now my little girl goes there.
It gave me the grounding to set up my own dance school.
It is friendly, professional, offers plenty of performance opportunities and exams.

Great dance school

My daughter has danced at Hilton Hall for 14 years and it is her second home! The teachers are very professional and the results the students achieve are outstanding. The studio has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where lifelong friendships have been made. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to dance for a hobby or potential career.
