Hello! Hilary Leighter Humanist Wedding Celebrant is an accredited celebrant with Humanists UK in London, Middx, Berks, Bucks, Herts, and Surrey. I specialise in helping you to create your own personal, non-religious wedding or renewal of vows ceremony, making full use of your reception venue. I love to help you have a wonderful ceremony in perhaps a family home or garden, in a farm field or a country park, at historic houses or hotels, and even the Wallace Collection in London! I also include cultural suggestions if you would like, eg breaking a glass underfoot, walking round a fire etc.

If you have had a baby I help you to welcome your child into your family with a baby naming ceremony of love and laughter.

If you are celebrating a Big Birthday, add a This is Your Life style ceremony!

If you have lost someone you love, I can create a caring funeral for them, to help your family and friends remember them with love and appreciation.

Funeral service

Hilary conducted my mother’s funeral service – she made the service really warm, personal and unique, taking time to find out little anecdotes about my mother to deliver a beautiful tribute. She was very supportive in helping to design the service at a difficult time when one has so much on one’s mind.

Many people came up to me afterwards to say what a fabulous service it was, and how refreshing and different and I thoroughly recommend her for your funerals weddings and naming ceremonies.
