High March

Amazingly friendly family run B&B, where the facilities are at par with any high end hotel. The rooms are very well kept, with mega comfy beds, big screen TV, access to Netflix/Amazon Prime for the kids, daily topped up stash of snacks in the room. Not sure if the facilities have been recently renovated, but everything felt fresh and new - quite the opposite of the experience I have had at other B&Bs.
We stayed for 2 nights, Stewart and Inga are extremely approachable, accommodating and helpful. Lots of local pointers on things to do - wouldve never thought of going to Plodda Falls had Stewart not recommended it.
About 7 minutes from the main Drumnadrochit hubhub.
Some of the hotels in the area are quite dated, would definitely recommend High March over some of the substantially more expensive options.

On arriving at High March, we were greeted at the door by the owner Stewart.

Surreal experience, yet not uncommon in Scotland, after talking with Stewart for 10 minutes, I felt like I had known the guy for years. Such a friendly, warm welcome to his stunning accommodation. He showed myself and my 3 young boys around the immaculate property and our room and gave us an insight and a list of things to do in the locality and further afield. The Traditional Scottish breakfast cooked in the morning along side the vast array of other options were devoured with smiles all round.

Stewart went over and above to accommodate us and I truly believe that the room rates are a steal! I would have happily paid extra. The experience was one to behold and I would recommend to anyone over any hotel experience.
