Hero Removals Brighton & Hove is one of the leading mid sized removal companies for the area. Whether its a collection or full move, you can count on us for a 1st class service.

We specialise in 1,2 and 3 bed flat and house moves. Most moves are carried out by myself, a removal professional with over a decades experience. We go above and beyond in terms of protecting customers belongings, and we also tend to be a bit more able than other firms to deal with disassembly and reassembly of furniture, We carry a very extensive tool box with time saving power tools. We also have a wide range of padded nylon furniture/appliance covers, as well as the standard removal blankets. We have some experience of lifting large items such as sofas over balconies or through windows where normal access is an issue. Count on us for that extra touch, where a standard man and van just won't do.

Used three times, same great service

Really pleased with the service for the third time of moving house with yet more stuff accumulated, all taken in their stride. They make it happen as quickly and safely as possible. They even moved my piano this time! It's always quite a relief when it's moving day as I can trust that they will do the job well. Very affordable

Absolute Heroes - Brilliant

Hero were just that, absolute heroes. They worked hard and took care of all of our furniture and other belongings, moving us efficiently, carefully and quickly. Mike even came back on the Bank Holiday to transport a last load that wasn't ready on the moving day.

I have recommended them to all my friends and am delighted to recommend them on here too.

Poor customer service

Disappointing customer service…..
Having booked a removal date with this company I then had to rebook it due to unforeseen circumstances ( the property I was moving to was not ready on time) The owner of the company, Michael, contacts me to reassure me I can rebook at a later date but I would need to coff up another 2 hour deposit at £160!!!
Stay well clear of this company….

Taking deposits is standard practice for most removal companies, and we state this clearly on our website, on our 'Prices' page. You cancelled your booking giving only 24 hours' notice, after having booked it a week or so in advance. We appreciate these things are often out of customers hands, but if removal companies don't take deposits, then we leave ourselves open to big losses. I was going to reduce your minimum charge from 3 hrs to 2, but you went elsewhere. We lost out on other work on the day we were supposed to be moving you , as we obviously had you booked in.

Last minute hero’s for us!

We booked Heroremovals at very short notice after being let down by another company. From the start they were professional and accommodating to our needs. They put us at ease in difficult circumstances. The guys worked really hard and handled our stuff with respect and care. Even sorting out lowering 2 sofas through a window when they wouldn’t fit down the stairs! Very highly recommended by us. Thank you!
