Heathroy Kennels has been established for over 30 years as a high quality boarding kennels and cattery with the emphasis of providing a relaxing, happy environment for your pet whilst you are away. Our kennels have individual covered all weather runs, underfloor heating and a separate sleeping area. We are able to cater for special diets, and the fabulous surrounding countryside provides excellent exercise for your dog. Our kennels and cattery are fully licensed, and we adhere to strict hygiene and health guidelines. Our close proximity to the Cardiff Wales Airport and M4 provides a great location for our clients, and we are very happy for you to view our premises before your dog or cat comes to stay. We have been using these kennels for years. Our dogs are content here and this makes going away so much easier! My dogs smell clean, look happy and well fed on collection. If not happy, one of our dogs will pine and lose weight. Highly recommended!

'Home from home'

Milo, our 19yr old cat, recently came home after 10 weeks in the cattery at Heathroy. She had stayed at Heathroy for an extended stay last year and she has had numerous short stays at other times. Milo always comes homes looking so well, healthy, happy and purring. It is very evident that not only has she been well cared for, she has been loved. It is always a pleasure to deal with Glenn and Bridget and when away for extended periods, we are able to keep in contact with them which we really appreciate. We very highly recommend Heathroy Kennels & Cattery.

My Chocolate Lab, Thomas, has been a day boarder in Heathroy Kennels for over 2 years and he is alway eager to jump out the car to go in. When I see how his tail wags, I know he enjoys going in. His reluctance to come to me to go home confirms that he has enjoyed his daily visits. Thank you Heathroy Kennels for a wonderful job of looking after Thomas.

Only Kennels for us (and Archie!)

We tried several kennels for our 2 Weimaraners in their first few years but always had some issues. We started using Heathroy after a recommendation and have now used them for the past 3 years.

They were the only Kennels to allow us to look around. They are clean, large with private runs, with under-floor heating.

We were hesitant to leave Archie there on his own when we had only lost Dexter a few weeks before our holiday as it would have been his first time 'alone'.
No worries, Glenn and Bridget are fantastic with him and keep us informed of everything. Most of all, Archie comes back happy and healthy...
