About HBW Beauty

Hello, my name is Helen and I am the owner of HBW Beauty.

I decided to create my own mobile beauty business in 2014. The main reasons behind my decision were, as a mum of 2, the need for flexibility around my family, and a passion for nails that dates back to high school (some 17 years ago).

As all mums are well aware, managing family life and a career is a juggling act that can be hard to be maintain. So, I decided to create a mobile business that bought treatments to you and made life that little bit more convenient for working women and mums alike.

Originally trained at the Carlton Institute of Beauty in 2003, I worked abroad in Hotels and Spas across Cyprus before returning to the UK.

I worked in the city for a long period of time before I went on to have my second child, and it was at this point, that I decided I wanted to be closer to home.

In 2014 I retrained in all things CND, at the Creative Academy in London under the award winning Educator Anna Lee.

In 2019 I became a CND Education Ambassador, meaning I can share my knowledge and passion for nails with likeminded professionals looking to break into the beauty industry or convert their existing skills by training in CND Nail systems along with other renowned brands such as wax:one, LASHUS and MoroccanTan.
