Haywood Tree Specialists are Tree Surgeons based in Sheffield. We're a small, friendly, reliable and trustworthy business who cover the whole of the South Yorkshire area. We set exceptionally high standards in the way we approach & carry out our tree work & always ensure professionalism and an immaculate clean up job when the work is done.

We have over 10 years’ experience in the tree surgery industry working in both public and private sectors. We also have vast experience of working on protected trees & a sound understanding of the legislation this involves.

About me

Hello, I'm Iain Haywood and the owner of Haywood Tree Specialists. I've been working in arboriculture for 12 years now, starting out as a labourer whilst attending college & university, & it was whilst I was at university that I found my passion for the physical hardships, the technicality, & the personal reward of completing difficult arboricultural jobs to an extremely high standard. After graduating with honours from York university with a degree in chemistry, I made the decision to pursue a career as an arborist. From 2010 I've worked full time as a Ground Worker, Lead Climber & Team Leader. I've worked for companies based both locally and nationwide, on public, private & commercial sides of the industry, all of which have been great experience for me to be able to professionally handle any type of job with confidence.

I have a lot of customers who come to me feeling like they have lost control of their garden & that's easy to do.
