My business needed a valuation as part of a property purchase, so I phoned a few of the surveying firms in Kent for a quote.

Harrisons provided a quote which wasn’t the lowest but from speaking on the phone they knew the area and gave me more confidence than others I had spoken to. My business partner met up with the chap film Harrisons and we were very happy with the service received and the presentation of the valuation report.

We had a few questions about the report which we were able to discuss in some length, which ended up being very useful for our negotiation strategy.

I would definitely recommend this company they seem very professional and know the local market really well.

Had the displeasure of dealing with this company in regards to a commercial property I was interested in.
Individual was called Jeremy Wilton, probably the most pompous arrogant individual I've ever come across. From my experience, this is the attitude of the majority of estate agents anyway, though so nothing new there.
0 customer service, I will be avoiding this company for future property interests and I would advise others to aswell

Dear Jacob, Thank you for your comments. I understand that you requested to view a retail property in Faversham, as you were interested in taking a lease on the shop. However, we informed you that our client was only looking to sell the property but you still wanted to have a viewing anyway. Notwithstanding your preference to lease the property, I understand Jeremy was willing to arrange a viewing with you, but was unable to make the first day that you suggested. As a result, you hung up and we were not therefore able to conclude arrangements. We have acted in our clients best interests for over 30 years, providing a professional and helpful service to many serious purchasers and lessees. We regret, however, that your brief contact with us did not meet your high expectations on this occasion. Harrisons

Yes, correct I was interested in the property, and after being informed that it was no longer for lease, I was STILL interested believe it or not. Jeremy's response to my simple request of arranging a date to view the property was: "Sorry, but who actually are you?!" and then borderline refusal to arrange a date for viewing. This was all after waiting 2 weeks for him to get back from holiday to try and arrange a viewing date. (Obviously no one else has the exquisite expertise it takes to show someone around a commercial building) So No, You deffinately are NOT acting on your clients best interests. You people often seem to forget that you REPRESENT the client, it's not actually YOUR property, so I would drop the arrogant persona. And by the way, I am a serious purchaser :) shouldn't always judge a book by its cover. Hopefully this will teach you a lesson. I don't like giving bad reviews, but if you cant provide a basic service, you will receive a Well deserved 1 star review.

Dear Jacob, thank you for your further comments. You are perfectly within your right to review your experience, however unusual, although since I understand you rang off before completing the call with Jeremy, he was not offered the opportunity to progress your enquiry further. Therefore, if you are interested in acquiring a particular property in the future, we would be pleased to hear from you. Harrisons
