Roof Survey

Chris Harkin came to our house to carry out a roof survey following some ongoing issues.
He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and provided some expert well-judged advice. He was also available to answer any questions whilst the remedial work was carried out. We would highly recommend him and would feel comfortable calling on him if we had any future issues.

Professional, friendly, efficient

Christopher Harkin came round to our house (before new covid restrictions) on the same day we called him. We were getting worried as had damp on the walls of our kitchen which we couldn't explain as the external walls had already been checked by a builder. He was a lovely person, very professional, checked the walls and suggested some further low cost fixes we can try to reduce the damp such as using dishes of salts to soak up condensation. Thoroughly recommend!

Leaseholder dispute regarding major works

Chris Harkin provided a building report in relation to planned external and common parts repairs to a block of flats by the freeholder under Section 20 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985.

He was professional and knowledgeable enough to get to the heart of the matter but able to communicate to non-experts in a clear and straight-forward manner.

I would be happy to use Harkin Associates again and would recommend them to others without hesitation.
