Lovely food from fresh from the butchers

5
We often visit this place for food at the weekend. Recently they've had to remove some play area facilities due to a lack of planning permission(I think). However it's got a great breakfast with food cooked fresh from the butchers next door.

Children's Play Area - Improvements

4
Just wanted to recognise the fact that Hare Hatch Sheeplands took notice of my last review and have made some substantial improvements to their children's play area. It is now well organised, clean and they have even created a safe and secure outdoor play area, which is fabulous. They now have a lovely expanse of green grass with a colourful enclosure, perfect for a summer’s day, which includes picnic tables designed for both adults and children.

Bouncy Castle A Winner

4
This kind of place is welcomed, when you have small children. There is an enclosed play area with a bouncy castle, which the children love. However, the play area could do with a better clean.

There is a large restaurant which appears to appeal to all age groups. My son is on a gluten free, wheat free diet, which doesn't allow for much choice, but they did serve jacket potatoes with a couple of fillings that were suitable.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that Hare Hatch Sheeplands stock some quality baby and toddler clothes, amongst other items such as toys and garden produce.

Ample parking is provided and the full-size plastic cow and fountains at the main entrance were an instant attraction for my son.

Inspired and Independent!

5
This place is a local favourite - as well as the usual garden stuff it has a farm shop, florist, gift shop and play area with bouncy castle, cafe (child-friendly), book exchange and life-sized plastic cows!

There are regular theme days on weekends, expect some or all of the following... art and craft markets, food markets, childrens activities like MAD academy music sessions and baby ballet for pre-schoolers.
