I was really interested in buying a convertible from here, got THe DEALERSHIP APPROVED ON HALIFAX SYSTEM- UP TO 1 HOUR CONVERSATIONS WITH HALIFAX FOR A WEEK - Essentially doing their job for them, I was pressured by Staff during this time who was saying 2 other people are wanting the car that I am holding up to rush me, and I was doing everything i coud with the bank during that time, 1 day later my situation changed meaning I couldn't go down to see the car, I was met with rudefrom Staff saying I cost him business because In that one day those 2 customers that have been so desperate to have the car have somehow managed to within one day find, finance and buy and move on - clearly he was lying the whole time! Then refuses to give me the deposit back entirely by saying that it's my fault I don't want the car, that I never wanted the car, completely untrue, horrible phone call, bad manners

My daughter purchased a Range rover evoque from this company in February 2022 and in November 2022 the engine needed replacing after only driving 6500 miles in it due to oil escaping into coolant tank draing engine of oil and causing damage beyond repair ...all because no oil warning lights appeared on dash which would have meant my daughter stopping straight away....Hamworthy cars wanted nothing to do with this informing us that there was only 6 month warranty on car when in fact we were told it came with 12 months...thus carxwas supposed to have had a full rac pre inspection which would have showed up the faults that we believe were there all along....we are now in the process of taking legal action.!

Having been looking for a Discovery 4 for months, I had visited main dealers, but the service was generally poor. I located what appeared to be a suitable car in Autotrader, and decided to pay them a visit.

From the outset the service was excellent, not at all pushy, but pleasant and helpful. The car was extremely well presented, unlike the main dealers, and I couldn't have left without buying it.

The car was collected, and soon after I noted a couple of issues. When I called the business they could not have been more apologetic and helpful, and subsequently the car was booked in without question for the corrections to be made.

I highly recommend Hamworthy Car Centre, and would advise anybody to talk to these guys if you are looking for a new car.

I bought a Range Rover this time last year from Hamworthy Cars. Because these cars are complex and expensive to maintain there are, inevitably, always some teething troubles with a used one. The dealer never ever let me down and ensured that any issue was dealt with. I went on to get my servicing done there and it is exemplary with main dealer parts used ( I asked for this) and excellent quality work. Today I stupidly put petrol in ( it is Diesel). I phoned them to be told get it straight in here ( on a recovery truck so as not to do any damage) and "we will sort it out." I got there and four people were there to attend to it immediately including the MD who reassured me that they would drain it and get it all back together as soon as they could for me. If you are in the market for a high end used car I really recommend this firm they deal with all kinds of cars if you want main dealer service from an independent family run firm this is my number one choice... And I am very hard to please. BTW, the car is brilliant normally a very good example. Just me that messed it up this time.
