Mike completed a full apprenticeship with British Gas and we are Gas Safe Registered

While moving into a new flat I contacted Mike, from Hamill Plumbing & Heating to fix our 'broken' heating system. Mike arrived quickly to discover the system wasn't broken, we had not turned up the thermostat! Mike was kind enough not to linger on our lack of common knowledge and graciously turned it up for us and then gave the system a full service. Many other trades people would have taken advantage of our naivety. He also saw us struggling to move the last few pieces of our furniture and offered to help which was outstanding of him as the final item was a large, and extremely heavy sofa that didn't fit through the door and had to be lifted over three garden walls! This would not have happened without Mike’s help. We would highly recommend Mike to anyone, not only for clearly being very good at his trade, but for also being a kind and thoughtful person that is not just there to do a job and get out but understands the concept of service. A true local hero.

Great job done!

I first met Mike when he came to service my boiler which he did efficiently. I use him again to replace a mixer tap on my bath. He had to work in very cramped conditions and on one of the hottest days of the year but again did the job efficiently and I am delighted with my new taps. I certainly would recommend him to anyone.

Mike was lovely. Arrived promptly so definitely of to a good start. Very professional and efficient. Serviced my boiler, very reasonable. Booked Mike to come back and fit remote thermostat. Give him a call you won't be disappointed.
