Very disappointed, I went to visit this shop after work to buy a few wax burners The shop looked dead, as always. With what’s going on at the moment I’m trying to support local shops more. As I walk in, who I believe to be the manager shouts ‘can you wait outside’ Very abrupt and the tone of her voice was rude and full of attitude. I work in a shop myself and I would never talk to a customer the way she did, unprofessional and rude. Manners cost nothing, maybe try apologize to the customer for the inconvenience and smile, say something like ‘it’s a bit busy at the moment do you mind waiting’ And I would respect you more and want to come back. I’m not one to complain however I was speaking to my colleague about the experience and how we need to make sure we don’t sound like that to customers, she went through exactly the same thing in your shop and will not shop there again.
