Many lies were told over the period, but unfortunately these lies were not great, leaving a car novice like me to shred these in seconds. Don’t think staff know what communication is all about. Simple facts like when orders were place was tricky to extract. Unfortunately, similar to their auto skills, the lying game needs a lot of work (felt like being lied to by a child.

Brilliant. When my car battery stopped working I managed to get to Rayleigh Weir and broke down just off the roundabout. Walked up to Halfords in the rain and the guys were able to help me with a jump start kit. This unfortunately didn’t work but then the kind Halfords staff were able to fit the new battery for me. This was very late / near closing time and they couldn’t have done any more for me. Very grateful. Brilliant team, from the girl that spoke to my colleague on the phone about the battery I needed and checked if there was stock / someone to fit for
me, to the staff at the till who helped and Dave I think it was that fitted the battery in the pouring rain. Thank you, thank you.

Adam here is a real gentleman helped me diagnose my insignia. Also had my other cars AC regassed here and checked over now works beautiful and been told it has no leaks which was a massive relief. I will always bring my car here now for what ever it needs.

I took my car for an MOT recently to Halfords, it failed with a total of 5 major defect which I was shocked by having only recently had a service done! They quoted me £500 “at least” for the repairs so I took it to have another MOT to a trusted garage that lots of friends and family use and they said every single major defect that my car failed on was working absolutely fine and in good condition when they looked specifically at what I had been failed on. I’m sick to my stomach over the fact they took me for a fool to get some extra work. Please please use an independent trusted garage this business is a joke the people who work in the garage have no clue all apprentices probably.
