Rude and Unhelpful

Visited Livingston store yesterday and was behind a young man wanting to buy WD40 as his bike chain had just seized and he needed to get home. ​ Young girl behind the till asked for ID then snatched the product off the counter and told him he couldn't buy it as he was under 18. ​ So rude and unhelpful! ​ I pointed out that they run a bike maintenance service and could surely help him out but was told you have to book. ​ Shockingly bad customer service. I have only been in this store 5 times in my life and it seems to get worse each time. ​ Staff need more customer service training!!! ​ Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

I was at Halfords Livingston yesterday and asked them to fit 2 new headlamp bulbs to my Qasuqai there was blizzard the time but Felix and Hugh fitted them with no complaining about the weather great service

Shocking Customer Service and Knowledge

Went to store to buy a bike through my employers Cycle Scheme. Found bike I wanted, to be told that it was priced incorrectly and they would not sell it at that price. Bike is still at that price 4 weeks later. I ordered another bike, produced my certificate, they took a note of the number and advised my bike could be collected in a week. In the meantime I raised a complaint about the pricing of the bike they would not sell me, told manager would call me, still waiting. I collected my bike a week later, asked if they wanted to see the certificate, was advised that they had a note of the number and I took the bike home. A week later I got a call from branch asking that I come in with my certificate and photo ID. I went into branch and they said that's not a scheme we support, you need to bring the bike back. No apology was received, they had checked the certificate when I placed the order and accepted it. They collected bike 1 hour after I left branch. Still no apology from branch.

Agressive staff member then manager gives me a row tells me he seen everything which he didnt hes just as bad go to another store avoid the Livingston store like the plague unfriendly/agressive staff who seem to be getting away with it

An absolute disaster !
From not very clever staff to just rude attitude and shocking customer service.
I had booked a faulty brakes maintenance(which ive purchased as an extra service buying a bike)..the problem was just replacing tiny screws and nuts from brake regulators as they lost a tread on them(brand new bike!) and one of the lady says they can checked what is wrong with the bike but the technician gonne be next 3-4 weeks available🤢💩😡..no explanation no apology or even sorry.When i tried to speak to someone else had the same kind of „barky” explanation..i felt almost intimidated and furious to drive 12 miles and another 12 back and my sons bike is undriveable!
Absolutely shocking customer service.I got more sensible and inteligent customer service in my local butcher!
