Over the Course of the 6 months I had lost 3 and half stone and I had intially took it to many tailors ( even as far as Staffordshire) asking would they be able to alter it as I reduced my size ? All of them said it would be a problem if it was anymore then 2 sizes down and also that i would lose the fabulous lace detail at the bottom ( as 4inches had to be removed also because of my height) I was quite upset as this would have totally took away from the dress, I happened to see this tailor shop called H& N and decided to check it out and they where excellent..not only did he say he could shorten the dress and put my lace back at the bottom he also agreed to alter the dress right up until 2 weeks before my wedding.. over the course of the 6 months I went in for many fittings and alterations and 2 weeks before my final fitting..he had taken my dress down in total from a size 20 to a 14 to 16 comfortable and he had done such a fabulous job at putting my lace detail back on the bottom

H & N Tailors are far the best tailors I have ever encountered. They altered a coat from size 16 to size 12 and the result is perfect. A well known tailor in the Birmingham City Centre had the same coat for three months and I went for four trials and in the end he suggested to put it back to its original size as he did not know how to get rid of a massive fish tail at the back of the coat. I kept the coat for a year but after reading H & N reviews I decided to try them. I was sceptical about a silk dress which needed about 2/3 inches extension. I suggested they put a panel either side of the dress but they managed to extend it without adding extra material. Apparently he extended a bit on the zip and all other areas of the dress to make it slightly bigger and it fits beautifully. I took trousers, four dresses, some needed shortened, others alteration on the shoulders and one which was a knitted dress they managed to somehow extend in a steamer. I am so happy! Thank you guys. they do some amazing, outstanding work i highly recommend going to them to get your clothes altered not only there work is amazing but there so kind and friendly and so co-operative with your need don't waist your time go to them now!!!!

I had ordered a dress online and didn’t realise what state it would be in. It needed dry cleaning, the top part completely removing and altering and fixing and then all put back together again.

The dress looks almost as good as new now! I can’t thank you all enough. My dress is amazing and I can’t wait to wear it next month.
