Business overview

Guitar specialist dealing in guitars, amps & effects including Fender, Gibson, PRS, Gretsch, Martin, Taylor, Music Man, National, Lowden, Maton, Marshall, Guild, Ibanez, Collings.

For decades Guitar Village has been assisting guitar players (from complete beginners to famous household names) find their perfect guitar. We only close 4 days a year giving customers every opportunity to get down to our shop situated in the South of England 45 minutes from central London.

Guitar Village houses a plethora of well over 1,000 guitars, amps and effects spread throughout 15 demo in our 15th century listed building - a landmark of the picturesque medieval market town of Farnham, Surrey. There is a special kind of ‘homey ambiance’ that makes for a more relaxed shopping experience.

The staff at Guitar Village all play guitar (a necessity to work here unlike some guitar shop salesmen!) and have an extensive in-depth knowledge and ability to guide customers to the right guitar. We also have a full-time tech on hand to help with any issues and set-up requirements.

We do everything from brand new to used and vintage guitars so whether you are after the latest innovations and reissues, a reliable workhorse or rare collector's item, we are sure you'll find it here.

As a long-established guitar specialist, Guitar Village has built up firm relationships with all the major manufacturers over the decades and are proud to be authorised dealers for Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, Gretsch, PRS, Ibanez, Ernie Ball Music Man, Lowden, National, Faith, Takamine, Rickenbacker, Collings, Guild, Larrivée, Marshall, D'Angelico, Mesa Boogie, AER, Cornell, Vox, Orange, Boss, Jim Dunlop, Roger Mayer, ThorpyFX, Strymon, Electro Harmonix, and many others.

A range of 0% and low-interest finance options now help the guitarist find the correct instrument for them without the price tag being an issue by spreading the cost into easily manageable payments. Free next-day shipping to mainland UK is also available on most products bought online for those unable to visit.

We sell guitars worldwide through our website but a personal visit to the shop is highly recommended!

Reviews

What a fantastic shop!

5
I visited the store to replace a broken guitar string, they not only did this while I waited but took the time to teach a novice how to do it by myself next time.
Super friendly and knowledgeable with a great selection of all things guitar related, I will be recommending them in the future!

Great shop

This is a large old guitar shop spread over 2 wide floors full of nooks & crannies.

They are friendly, informative & are more than willing to chat about their products, and offer advice on what might be best for you.

If you have the cash, upstairs is a treasure trove of some v nice but understandably pricey vintage guitars, and a good range of more standard priced models

Downstairs is a large range of mid priced instruments, amps and other doodads.

The online website is pretty good too, offering large clear photos of each guitar for sale. The prices are reasonable (ie realistic), and you can pick up a bargain or two.

Go there... buy stuff.
