Professional registered tutor of classical guitar and music theory.

Over 25 years experience of teaching students of all ages both privately and in local schools.

I offer friendly patient professional one to one tuition in all styles of guitar. All levels of player from beginners to more advanced are welcome. I have excellent pass rates in both Trinity College classical guitar and Rock School electric guitar/ bass exams and diplomas.

30 mins or hour lesson available. Either in person or by video online over WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Excellnt Tuiton

Larry is a very understanding and experienced guitar player. I have been going to him for some time now and have always found him very helpful and knowledgeable on any music matter.
I would definitely recommend Larry, no matter what level of playing you are currently at. I’m sure Larry will help you improve your abilities and help you to enjoy your music.

Guitar Teacher

Larry has been teaching my daughter to play the guitar and read music for the last 6months. He has a very encouraging teaching style and she really enjoys his lessons. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone.

Larry's lessons are fun and informative

I have been having lessons with Larry since January and I can honestly say that he is outstanding: knowledgeable about theory and practice; an excellent teacher; extremely understanding about the difficulties of learning guitar and ensures that the lessons are appropriately focused.

Consistently delivers high standards of teaching

I’ve had lessons with Larry for nearly a year and each session has been consistent in delivering the highest standard of teaching in a calm and supportive environment. Larry is fully accommodating for 1:1 or groups and he is flexible to the needs of the customer. I enjoy learning with Larry, he never gets impatient and I make many mistakes, sometimes over and over. I would highly recommend him if you’re considering a tutor.
