Guitar Lessons in Biggin Hill

Pete is an excellent teacher; when I first met him I could play a few songs and he asked me if I could play one for him. He listened and then asked if I could play the same song in the key of D to which I replied "I have no idea what key I played it in". He then knew where to start with me.

He then began to teach me about how music, keys, chords and scales were related and the basic building blocks of how they all fitted together. I don't think there was a question that I asked that he didn't know the answer to and could demonstrate.

He is very conscientious in his approach to teaching and I am very glad that someone gave me his contact details and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Whatever level player you are, Pete will help you move forward

Pete is a superb guitar teacher with a huge depth of knowledge and a natural way of understanding what it is that a student wishes to learn. He doesn't simply teach what he wants to teach as many others do. He has a seemingly never ending patience ( he needed to with me ! ) and is always encouraging whilst keeping the lesson moving along and enjoyable.

I always feel that I have actually learned something useful that I can apply to my guitar playing immediately after a lesson with Pete and consider his lessons to be very good value for money. I shall be sticking with Pete after having tried many other instructors. I would / and do recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar.
