Good standard of cash poker players and usuall lively tables at peak times. problem for the serious poker player is the cash poker tables are not run very well. Often the dealers have very little cash table experien, which causes slow table play and frequent mistake's that can and have cost player's money losses on big cash pots. ( very very amateurish and for the players concerned very annoying). often the table dealers are ill equipped to be dealing do not understand the table rulings, are not trained to a good enough level to deal cahs poker. don't forget to bring your dancing shoes has the casino belts out loud music So called "ambience" Like everything else in a commercial casino, the managment and staff are off low level of education and purely there to perform task's (usually dancing at there station to the droll music that is pumped out and not paying attention to there customers or there jobs.).. shame gala casino is doesn't take poker seriously enough to consider feedback from the players... personally if your serious about poker then Gala is NOT!

This casino is brilliant. I have only ever been here twice but on both occasions i have had a brillinat time. There are lots of diffent arracde games to have a flutter on and sometimes they do raffles where you can win cash prizes and electricals. My wife won a stainless steel toaster and kettle last year in one of there raffles! The atmosphere in this place is great and the staff are very happy to help you if you are stuck on any of the machines. Overall it is a great place to go for a bit of fun and the food and drink isn't really that expensive. I will definatly have to go here again soon it has been a while!

Gala Casino is a great place for a night out. The staff are very friendly and it creates are great atmoshpere. If you’ve never played the games before Gala offer demonstations to teach you the basics. You will need to produce ID to enter but the process is speedy. The dress code is smart casual jeans are allowed although I did perfer it when they weren't allowed so you had to make an effort it kinda of made it more special when everyone was dressed up. Inside downstairs has slot machines as well as card tables and American Roulette. American roulette tables start from a 25p minium bet. I like to play roulette and have had some good wins over the years but I think looking back over all the casino always wins. Gala often do special nights with extra prizes on offer with raffeles and prize draws as well as offers on drinks and food. There parking outside the casino in there carpark but also you can in the carpark across the road when its full. They have staff on watching the cars too.
