Grinsell's Skip Hire Ltd

Took the skip after it was dropped with no warning. Skip was not even full. Explained to the driver skip was still required but still took it. Will never use this company again.
Waste of money

The worst skip company on earth...AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not only did they cause damage with their skip but never got back to any of my emails or calls...still to this day waiting for the MD to call me back. Unprofessional and do not understand the words 'customer service'. I want people to avoid what I went through.

1st called at 06.49
Checked that skip was going to be exchanged.
Explained that I had not yet paid for, would that delay things?
Answer - "No, it's on it's way to site, ring back and pay when the girls get in at 07.15"
07.20 Sought to pay. Very busy, could I ring back later.
07.58 Rang back. Card machine not working - ring back at 8.30
08.32 Rang back. Paid by Debit Card.
12.58 My site manager phones to tell me no skip!
13.01 Phone Grinsell's to seek explanation
Told - Wasn't exchanged because it wasn't paid for SEE ABOVE!!!!!
4 men for 3hours at £45/hr has cost me £540 and set me back 1/2 day on next job.
Does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing - or saying.
'Tis a pity I paid upfront for a service I didn't receive., so I have no redress
First and last time using Grinsell's - What a shambles - What an expensive mistake

Driver and staff very rude !!!!
We have used Grinsells for years , never had a problem until today .

Driver turned up today and we had skip full of soil and pieces of wood on top , built up at sides with old doors .

We have always built up at sides , never been a problem .
Driver was rude , and then both staff were very unprofessional.

No one could explain to me why we have always put extra on top and never been a problem before ???? Just usually put cover over ??and take it ..

If this is a new rule you should tell customers when booking the skip .......

Very rude and unprofessional company

Excellent service provided with our skip hire very pleasant office staff informative and polite. Skip turned up as promised on time driver very helpful put skip exactly where we wanted it. Collected today same driver very pleasant and helpful nothing too much trouble.
I would highly recommend not the cheapest but very reasonable and they were a pleasure to deal with thank you all
