Greenock Dog Training

Inverclyde School of Dog Training has been running for more than 37 years. All the instructors are volunteers and as such receive no remuneration for their time. Everyone involved has a genuine interest in canine welfare and training with a particular emphasis on educating dog owners to ensure good relations between the dog owning and the non-dog owning community. An annual Inverclyde Dog Training Club Fun Dog Show is held at Gourock Park in June attracting hundreds of dogs owners and spectators with fantastic agility and flyball displays, prizes and trophies, stalls and information. The club are regularly asked to perform agility and flyball displays at local events and only recently joined with Inverclyde Council, Keep Scotland Beautiful and The Dog’s Trust in an initiative on responsible dog ownership. The club receives no funding other than the course fee you pay and rely on donations, fundraising and a small profit from the sale of dog food and training aids.
