Happy owner
My escape artist dog went walkabout when my daughter was caretaker and ended up in Greenfields after being picked up. I had to leave her overnight, and was worried about collecting her. I was very pleasantly surprised by two lovely owners who had cared for my dog very well. I would use the kennels there, and came back with new laid eggs too. Thank you

Not fit for a rat let alone a dog
My dog escaped on a bank holiday Monday. He was was picked up by the dog warden and taken to greenfeilds. Now being a bank holiday I was unable to ring the council or the kennels as the lines were shut. However at 9am on the Tuesday morning I rung greenfeilds. I described my dog to the lady to ensure told no he wasn't there and againg at 3pm again I was told no he wasn't there. I then rung the dog warden who informed he was in fact in greenfeilds and had been taken there bank holiday Monday!!!. When I rung back and told them I knew my.dog was there and had a reference number her attitude was foul. Not only did she lie she couldn't even apologise. Due to not finding the dog was there until they were closing I was then forced to pay for an extra night stay even though they had blatantly lied.I went to collect my dog the cage he was staying in was foul. There was hardly any shelter for the dog. It was cold and wet. And now my poor dog has kennel cough. What an absolute disgrace of a place

bad place
My dog ran off and we eventually tracked her down in greenfield kennels, when going down the following morning to get her, the staff went over to the cage and she was hiding in the corner shaking, cold and wet, when we got her home, she wasn't her self for days, always shaking, wasn't as lively as normal, every time she heard a bang she would hide in the corner shaking in fright, a couple of days later she came down with this horrendous cough, took her to the vets and turned out to be kennel cough, there is nothing we can do about it, passed it on to another one of my dogs, the cough is horrible making both of my dogs throw up because of the strength of the cough, bearing in mind my dog was in the kennels for less than 6 hours because by the time we had tracked her down they were closed. Wouldn't advise anyone to take their dogs down here. I wouldn't take my dog down here, Would rather my dog be in a comfortable and happy place where she isn't scared and cold...

Very happy with Greenfields
We have been going to Greenfield kennels and Cattery for many years.
It s owned & run by a family of animal lovers. Over the time we have recommended friends to board their pets with Greenfields.
Although the accommodate pets for the RSPCA and Local Council when required, these are housed and cared for entirely separately, so no need to worry about that.
It is very conveniently located yet quiet and peaceful; we will continue to go to Greenfields, hopefully, for many more times.
