Green Horizons Merthyr Ltd is a charity (CHARITY NO. 1114677) , we are a community orientated furniture recycling and re-use organisation.
Our charity is based in Pentrebach - (Merthyr Tydfil). We receive donations of furniture and white goods that would normally have gone to a landfill site.
We then display them in our showroom after cleaning and inspection and sell those items to families who are on Benefits.
To help supplement our low price sales to those on benefits we also sell to members the general public. (Those on benefits receive a 50% discount).
Our work has had national and regional recognition, runner up in 2009 "Community Recycler of the Year" award and winner of the local "Social Enterprise Excellence" award in 2010.
