Welcome, GP Driving School offers a wide range of quality driving lessons and Driving Instructor Training in Manchester, Baguley, Warrington and Stockport and Bolton areas.

We aim to provide a efficient and effective service all at highly competitive prices. We promise to ensure all lessons are conducted in a professional manner and that all our instructors deliver their lessons with a friendly and patient approach.

Our driving instructors are all well trained and assessed by the DVSA. Many have several years experience, not only in teaching learners to successfully pass the driving test but also in teaching qualified drivers to become ADI's (Approved Driving Instructors).

To help ensure your lessons are effectively taught we pick you up, drop you off from any reasonable location, ensure all lesson time is one to one - just you and the instructor - and that you receive a full hours lesson.

As our driving school continues to successfully expand we are now actively looking to recruit ADI's and PDI's.

My driving experience

My driving instructor was very helpful as she knew the driving routes for the practical test which helped as we would go on those routes so that I knew what to expect and could react accordingly to familiar situation. She was always on time or early for lessons. I felt safe as she knew how to handle any situation and explained what I should do if I encounter such situation during my test making it easier to deal with unexpected situations. I would always receive a reminder about any driving lesson the day before making it easy to remember. During lessons she would give useful tips which made driving easier and she would explain what various crossings and signs meant which is useful for the theory test.

Are their instructors any good? I wouldn't know, as I couldn't get them to let me pay them!

Their communication is abysmal. They have asked me to leave my email for them to send me a payment link 72 hours before the first lesson, the date for which we agreed upon a 1.5 months before it. 3 days before the first lesson, I still haven't received the payment link. Trying to reach out to them got me no response. The next day after the lesson was supposed to occur, they reach back to me via text, no apology or explanation — simply informing me that the person handling my booking was away all this time, and telling me that it's my fault for not paying on the link that was sent, which is infuriating to say the least considering that literally all of my communication to them has been me begging to let me pay them so I can start my lessons. Double checking my email (both inbox and spam folder) I still see no payment link from them. They have wasted a month and a half of my time and I would absolutely not recommend dealing with them.
